Publication Ethics
At DJVS, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics in academic publishing. This Publication Ethics outlines the responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and the journal’s editorial office, ensuring transparency, honesty, and fairness throughout the publication process.
1. Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting to DJVS must:

Ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism.

Properly acknowledge the work and ideas of others through appropriate citations.

Avoid duplicate publication or simultaneous submission to other journals.

Disclose any conflicts of interest that might affect the interpretation of their findings.

Accurately report data without fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation.

Provide access to raw data if requested for editorial review or post-publication audit.

Ensure that all authors listed have made significant contributions to the research and approve the final manuscript.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
The Editor-in-Chief and editorial board members are responsible for:

Making fair, unbiased decisions on submissions based on academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance.

Maintaining the confidentiality of all manuscripts and reviewer identities during the peer review process.

Avoiding conflicts of interest and ensuring decisions are not influenced by personal, financial, or institutional relationships.

Taking prompt action if ethical concerns or allegations of misconduct are raised, following COPE guidelines.

Ensuring the peer review process is thorough, objective, and timely.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of DJVS publications. Reviewers are expected to:

Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of submitted manuscripts.

Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and refrain from using unpublished materials for personal benefit.

Disclose any potential conflicts of interest or decline the review if they feel unable to provide an impartial assessment.

Report any ethical concerns or suspected misconduct encountered during the review process to the Editor-in-Chief.
4. Plagiarism and Misconduct
DJVS has zero tolerance for plagiarism, falsification, and unethical research practices.

All submissions are screened for plagiarism using reliable detection software.

Manuscripts with significant plagiarism (similarity score over 20%) will be automatically rejected.

In confirmed cases of academic misconduct (data fabrication, duplicate publication, authorship manipulation, etc.), DJVS will take appropriate action, which may include rejection, retraction, and notification of authors’ institutions.
5. Ethical Oversight for Research Involving Animals
DJVS requires that all research involving animals must comply with institutional, national, and international ethical guidelines.
Authors must:

Clearly state in their manuscript that ethical approval has been obtained from a recognized ethics committee.

Provide details of ethical standards followed during research involving animal subjects.
